Renata serves as Legal Counsel on CLC’s Strategic Litigation team.

Renata graduated magna cum laude from both the University of Pennsylvania and New York University School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. At Penn, she received the Althea K. Hottel Award for outstanding leadership. At NYU, she represented clients through the Juvenile Defense Clinic and the Criminal Defense and Reentry Clinic and served as an article editor for the NYU Law Review. Her note, “Challenging Racist Predictive Policing Algorithms Under the Equal Protection Clause,” was published in the Law Review and received the Leonard Henkin Prize. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Ann Petluck Poses Prize for outstanding clinical work.

Renata previously clerked for the Hon. Edward G. Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Hon. Ronald Lee Gilman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Before joining Campaign Legal Center, she litigated voting rights cases nationwide in trial and appellate courts as an associate at a D.C. based law firm.

Renata is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C. She joined CLC in September 2025.
