Margaret joined Campaign Legal Center after more than six years with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE), where she advised on novel and complex ethics issues across the executive branch. She also analyzed incoming presidential nominees' financial disclosure reports in preparation for their Senate confirmation hearings and advised political appointees on their ethics obligations. In addition to her work within the executive branch ethics program, Margaret served on the OGE International Team, where she collaborated with international groups on anticorruption issues in the United States and around the world. Prior to OGE, Margaret clerked for the Hon. Fern Flanagan Saddler in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. 

Margaret received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and earned her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University. In law school, Margaret interned with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, the Department of Justice Public Integrity Section and the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of New York. Margaret was also published by and served as a Notes Editor on the George Washington International Law Review and participated as a student attorney in the Family Justice Litigation Clinic. 

She is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Maryland. Margaret joined CLC in 2026.
