
Dan Lenz

Prior to joining CLC, Dan was staff counsel at Law Forward in Madison, Wisconsin, where he represented clients in cases involving voting rights, redistricting, and election administration. Dan was among the attorneys representing the petitioners before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in Clarke v. Wisconsin Elections Commission (Wis.), a successful challenge to the state's long-standing legislative gerrymander. He also represented the City of Green Bay and others in response to Wisconsin's partisan investigation into the 2020 general election, and the League of Women Voters of WIsconsin in litigation over absentee balloting rules.
He is based in Wisconsin and licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Illinois. His work conducted in the District of Columbia is limited to federal courts. He is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Dan joined CLC in 2024.
