Campaign Legal Center defends fair maps in court and champions fair redistricting practices like citizen-led independent redistricting commissions and an end to partisan gerrymandering and unlawful mid-decade redistricting. CLC also fights against maps that illegally dilute the voting power of communities of color and advocates for strong legal protections, so every vote counts equally and every voice is heard. In addition, Campaign Legal Center works to protect an accurate, inclusive and legitimate census every 10 years. Counting every person who lives in the country in our census is important to make sure all Americans are fairly represented.
