Former Lobbyists Now Have Unlimited Access to Lead the Agencies They Lobbied

Campaign Legal Center (CLC) identified 47 former lobbyists nominated for or currently serving in senior executive branch positions in the Trump administration. Of these, sixteen appointees would likely have been banned or had limited roles under prior ethics rules that President Trump eliminated at the beginning of his term.
