Legislative district maps will be redrawn this year, and it’s important that Americans have fair representation, regardless of where they live or what they look like.

To help raise awareness about fair redistricting in 2021, CLC organized #OurFairMaps Day on April 30 to get people talking on social media on about why redistricting and Fair Maps matter to them.

This was an especially timely day of action, with the U.S. Census Bureau's release of data on April 26 that determines reappointment of congressional seats by state.

A diverse group of over 40 people posted videos, speaking to their audiences about how fair representation impacts the issues they care about.

The individuals that participated represented organizations from across the United States. If you missed your first chance, you can still post your own #OurFairMaps video. Just follow the instructions here. Every vote should count equally, and every voice should be heard.
