Peter Staple

Mr. Staple has served in leadership roles over several decades in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, working with groundbreaking technologies including polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of DNA and novel drug delivery systems. He is the former President and CEO of Corium, Inc. and BioSeek, Inc., and the former Chief Administrative Officer, Executive VP and General Counsel of ALZA Corporation. He serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations as well as on private and public company boards. Before entering the biotech industry, Mr. Staple practiced law at the Heller Ehrman law firm. He has served on the board of visitors at Stanford Law School and holds a B.A. and J.D. from Stanford University.
