
Misgana Kurban
Misgana Kurban supports the CLC team by coordinating day-to-day administrative and operational tasks that help ensure the organization runs smoothly.

Prior to joining CLC, Misgana worked at USAID in the Middle East Affairs Bureau through Chenega Corporation as a Program Assistant, where she supported the daily operations of the team and ensured that critical communications and regional updates followed established processes and protocols. She has experience in government, private, and nonprofit sectors, with a background in case management, community organizing, and operations, particularly within immigration and refugee services.
Misgana graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S in Global Studies and Social Impact and a B.A in Anthropology. She is a recent graduate of American University with a Master's in International Affairs, focusing on Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights. Her professional and academic journey reflects a deep commitment to institutional equity and strengthening operational systems that support mission-driven work.
