Grayson graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2019 with a B.A. in Global Studies and a minor in U.S. Politics. During her time at UVA, she interned at the UVA Center for Politics, where she helped organize community-wide events hosting local and state office-holders, political commentators, international diplomats, and community activists.
Before coming to CLC, Grayson worked as a Project Assistant at the non-partisan, non-profit National Democratic Institute, where she helped prepare reports and grant proposals for review by federal agencies. She also has internship experience in Congressman Jim Cooper's office on Capitol Hill, at a DC political advocacy firm, and in the Innovation Center at a full-service law firm. Originally from Nashville, she has volunteered for various campaigns in both Tennessee and Virginia, as well as for the Virginia Democratic Party, where she registered voters and attended campaign strategy meetings leading up to local, state, and federal elections.
