Fata is a detail-oriented wordsmith who has used her experiences across the public, private, and non-profit sector to streamline complex visions, goals, and ideas through written and digital storytelling. Fata began her career as a corps member with City Year Miami and continued to develop her role as a policy advocate with the Data Quality Campaign where she supported state leaders by analyzing, distilling, and communicating about data use policy and practices at the local, state, federal, and national levels. She has also led strategic engagement and intergovernmental affairs efforts for the District of Columbia Public Schools.

Fata studied Political Science and Africana Studies and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, before relocating to Washington, DC to obtain a Master’s in Public Policy from American University.
