Emma Steiner

Prior to joining CLC, Emma was a researcher at Documented, an investigative watchdog and journalism project that works to hold power accountable. Before that, she worked at Common Cause, tracking voter suppression efforts.  

Emma received her M.A. in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 2019. She received a B.A. in History with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. Emma joined CLC in 2025.
