Ed McKinley

Over his 45-year career Mr. McKinley has served in leadership roles both in investment management and in social justice. In 20 years at Warburg, Pincus he served on the Executive Committee and as President of Warburg, Pincus International, making private equity investments in both the U.S. and Europe. Mr. McKinley subsequently founded and built a private investment office which he ran for 18 years. He has served on the boards of over 30 public and private companies, and more than 10 non-profits. He has served on the executive committees of the boards of two global human rights organizations for 20 years. He was a community organizer in Mississippi in the mid-70’s and for the last 10 years has co-organized a local coalition to address early childhood trauma; and national networks of newly-political activists. 

He holds a B.A. from Stanford and an M.P.P.M degree from Yale School of Management, where he served on the Advisory Board for 15 years.
