Alexis Grady
In her role as legal counsel, Alexis focuses on a wide range of strategic litigation.
Alexis graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2023 and Howard University in 2020. In law school, Alexis interned with the American Civil Liberties Union's Political Advocacy Department. She also held leadership positions in the Black Law Student Association and the Journal of Modern Critical Race Perspectives, as well as serving as a law fellow, public interest fellow, gender justice fellow and Georgetown Law Civil Rights Clinic student attorney.
Prior to joining Campaign Legal Center, Alexis worked as an election and voting rights lawyer at a D.C. based law firm. During that time, she advised nonprofit organizations, political committees and candidates on their campaign finance obligations and election-related advocacy work.
Alexis is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. She joined CLC in September 2025.
