Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi of New York violated a conflicts-of-interest law by disclosing stock transactions years past a federal deadline

Delaney Marsco, a senior legal counsel on ethics at the Campaign Legal Center, told Insider in an interview that it was impossible to know whether Suozzi's latest financial filing included some of the missing trades her organization noted in its complaint. "Unless we get more disclosure from the representative it's very hard to know," she said. "It deprives voters of information they have had a right to for years and haven't had."
