Biden Has Yet to Deliver on Some Ethics Pledges

Watchdog groups say Mr. Biden is doing more than past presidents on ethics and transparency, crediting the president with taking steps to hold government employees to a strict ethics code. But they also said Mr. Biden should be doing more. “I would like to see President Biden act with more urgency on some of the things that he hasn’t started following through on yet,” said Delaney Marsco, senior legal counsel for ethics at the Campaign Legal Center. “We’re at a critical moment when we can decide if we want to have a government that is transparent and accountable or if we want to do slightly better than the last person in office did.”
