On January 16, 2026, Campaign Legal Center (CLC), on behalf of Intervenor-Defendants Lisa D. T. Rice and Grow Democracy D.C., filed a reply in support of their motion for summary judgment, detailing the many legal and factual errors in Plaintiffs' opposition thereto, and again requesting that the Court uphold the D.C. Board of Election's determination — after full public process and administrative review — that Initiative 83 is a lawful and proper subject of the District’s initiative power.
