Proposed Amicus Brief in Support of Plaintiffs’ Motion for Summary Judgment

On October 24, 2025, Campaign Legal Center filed a proposed amicus brief in support of federal government employees’ motion for summary judgment. CLC provides a history of the nonpartisan nature of the federal government, the way that President Trump’s administrations have abrogated that principle, and an explanation of how the nonpartisan principle protects and promotes federal employees’ First Amendment rights to engage in partisan politics in their private lives.
