Proposed Amicus Brief in Support of Plaintiffs' Motion for Preliminary Injunction

On September 21, 2026, Campaign Legal Center filed a proposed amicus brief on behalf of 53 prosecutors and law enforcement agents who have worked on public corruption and public integrity matters for the Department of Justice, including in the Public Integrity Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, or United States Attorney’s Offices across the country. The brief argues that Truth Social’s new scheme to charge up to $100,000 per month for users to get early access to messages from the president and other officials on the platform has potential criminal implications. Because the scheme is potentially criminal, Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits of their claims, and the public interest favors an injunction.
