Order Dismissing RNC v. Benson

On April 22, 2026, the Michigan Court of Claims dismissed a challenge to Michigan's residency requirements for military and overseas voters and their families. Campaign Legal Center, along with co-counsel ACLU of Michigan and Selendy Gay, filed an amicus brief in support of military families on behalf of Secure Families Initiative and ACLU-MI.
