Opposition to Defendant Counties’ Motion to Dismiss

On July 9, 2026, Campaign Legal Center (CLC), on behalf of Common Cause and LULAC, filed a brief in opposition to the Dallas, Denton, and Collin County Defendants’ motion to dismiss the organizations’ complaint challenging that Texas' reliance on the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program to verify the citizenship status of registered voters and remove voters from the rolls violates the National Voter Registration Act's prohibition on uniform and non-discriminatory voter list maintenance.
