Letter to OGE and DOJ Ethics Officials Regarding Deputy AG Todd Blanche
Campaign Legal Center asked the U.S. Office of Government Ethics and the Designated Agency Ethics Official for the U.S. Department of Justice to review our January 23, 2026, complaint to the DOJ inspector general regarding a conflict-of-interest law violation by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. If Blanche participated in a particular matter affecting the digital asset industry while owning digital assets, as the complaint alleges, he also likely violated his Ethics Agreement and the false statements statute.
