On October 11, 2026, the District Court of the Southern District of New York issued a temporary restraining order, ordering Defendants to stop airing and producing the tax-payer funded campaign advertisements. Campaign Legal Center Action along with Democracy Forward, and Public Integrity Project Action, Inc., represent Plaintiffs Common Cause, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) 32BJ and its Empire State PAC, and candidate for Alabama State House Robert Hunter.
