CLC v. FEC (Last Best Place PAC) – Opinion
On June 26, 2025, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia granted summary judgment to CLC in Campaign Legal Center v. FEC (Last Best Place PAC), ruling that the Federal Election Commission’s dismissal of CLC’s administrative complaint against Last Best Place PAC for alleged disclosure violations was arbitrary and capricious, and therefore contrary to law. The Court remanded the case back to the FEC and ordered the agency to conform to the ruling within thirty days.
