CLC Testimony in Opposition to Oregon HB 4018

Campaign Legal Center (CLC) submitted testimony in opposition to HB 4018 in Oregon, a bill which would substantially revise major campaign finance reforms passed in the state in 2024. As CLC’s testimony explained, some of the bill’s provisions would weaken laws intended to prevent corruption, fail to address problems in existing law, and add new ambiguities and inconsistencies.
