CLC Complaint to FEC Against Keep El Paso Honest

CLC filed a complaint against Keep El Paso Honest, a super PAC formed to attack the candidacy of Veronica Escobar, a candidate for U.S. House in TX-16. The primary election was held on March 6, 2018. Keep El Paso Honest was formed late last year, and in early 2018 spent tens of thousands on billboards, TV and radio ads, and mailers attacking Escobar – so was required to file pre-primary and independent expenditure reports. It did neither. Since the election, Keep El Paso Honest also failed to file two quarterly reports in a row.
