Pushing the FEC to Enforce the Law Against the NRA for Illegal Spending Coordination — Giffords v. FEC

Campaign Legal Center (CLC) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) against the National Rifle Association (NRA) and Josh Hawley for Senate in Missouri. The complaint was co-signed by Giffords, the organization led by former U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords. Hawley is a U.S. Senate candidate in Missouri. The NRA and Hawley appear to have violated federal law when the NRA routed nearly $1 million in spending supporting Hawley's campaign through an apparent shell corporation established by Hawley's top campaign consultant.
