CLC Comments on Second Round of Arizona Rulemaking Regarding the Voters' Right to Know Act (Prop 211)

Campaign Legal Center submitted public comments to the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission regarding the second round of proposed rules implementing the Voters’ Right to Know Act, also known as Prop 211. The Act requires major campaign media spenders to disclose the original sources of large donations they receive, including information about persons who act as intermediaries between the original sources of money and the spender. The proposed rules primarily relate to the administrative procedures for complaints and responses, investigations, and enforcement. CLC’s comments include suggested clarifications and revisions for the proposed rules and recommendations for additional regulations.
