CLC Alleges Super PACs Illegally Paid $1 Million for Trump’s Madison Square Garden Rally
On November 20, 2025, Campaign Legal Center (CLC) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) alleging that Donald Trump and his authorized joint fundraising committee, Trump 47, violated federal election campaign finance laws by knowingly accepting prohibited and unreported in-kind contributions from two super PACs, “Right for America” and “America First Action Fund” — a group funded almost entirely by Linda McMahon, who is now Trump’s secretary of Education — that collectively (and unlawfully) paid over $1 million for Trump’s October 2024 rally at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (MSG).
