CLC Alleges Straw Donor Scheme Concealed True Source of $1.6 Million Political Contribution

On December 16, 2024, Campaign Legal Center (CLC) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) alleging that unknown persons used an obscure Delaware corporation called Stop China Now (SCN) to conceal the true source(s) of a $1.6 million contribution to a super PAC, Save Western Culture (SWC PAC). The overall facts appear to indicate that SCN and SWC PAC were set up and used by the same person(s) to pay for over $1.3 million on independent expenditures in the final weeks of the 2024 election, while illegally concealing the true sources of that money.
