Amicus Brief in ACLU-DE v. The Town of Fenwick Island

CLC filed an amicus brief in the Delaware Supreme Court in support of the ACLU of Delaware’s challenge to a law allowing corporations to vote in the Town of Fenwick Island, Delaware. The brief describes the history of Free Elections clauses in state constitutions and demonstrates that allowing corporations to vote undermines the protections provided by the Delaware Constitution.
