CLC Files Complaint with the U.S. Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General Alleging Criminal Ethics Violations by FDA Advisory Committee Members

Date

Campaign Legal Center filed a complaint with the U.S. Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General to investigate possible criminal ethics violations committed by seven members of the 2026 FDA Pharmaceutical Compounding Advisory Committee. Each of these seven members had clear financial interests in the peptides and/or compounding pharmaceuticals industries at the time of the July 23-24, 2026 FDA Pharmaceutical Compounding Advisory Committee deliberations. Their participation in the meeting without ethics waivers, while holding these financial interests, could be considered violations of criminal ethics laws.
