John Sachs

John Sachs served as a senior partner in the Washington, DC office of Latham & Watkins, LLP for 25 years.  He co-founded and then chaired the firm's Global Project Development & Finance Group focusing on the development, financing and sale/acquisition of domestic and international infrastructure projects.  John has also devoted considerable attention to public interest endeavors, including drafting electricity laws and setting up programs to attract private investment in numerous emerging nations.  John is a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School.  He clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Richey of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
