Charles Fried, a Harvard Law professor who served as solicitor general under President Ronald Reagan and serves on the board of the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center, said it would be “obviously problematic” for Trump to have a member of his legal team working pro bono. “He is ... receiving hundreds of hours of legal services, which, you know, people like Giuliani charge a thousand dollars an hour.
