Watchdog Group Files Campaign Finance Complaint Against Trahan
A Washington, DC-based watchdog group filed a complaint against U.S. Rep Lori Trahan (D-Lowell) with the Federal Elections Commission. The complaint says Trahan may have violated campaign finance rules when she loaned her campaign $371,000 in the waning days of a tight, ten-way Democratic primary in September. The Campaign Legal Center's complaint questions where the money came from and asks federal regulators to open an investigation.
