A campaign finance watchdog is asking federal authorities to investigate Iowa Congresswoman Cindy Axne's stock portfolio. The Campaign Legal Center filed its complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics on Wednesday. It claims Axne purchased and sold more than 40 assets worth anywhere from $43,000 to $645,000 in 2019 and 2020, then failed to properly report the transactions. Axne is among four Democrats and three Republicans being accused by the Campaign Legal Center.
