Vanity Fair: "This Just Landed": Kushner Family Hitches A Trump 757 to Wyoming for Passover
After a campaign-style speech on Thursday, President Donald Trump decamped to Mar-a-Lago for Easter weekend with Melania and his son Barron, who had spent the week spring breaking at their private club. Tiffany flew down, as did Eric and Lara and their new baby. Don Jr. and his whole lot, including his estranged wife, Vanessa, settled in, too, readying for a holiday weekend of bunny-cake decorating and golden-egg hunts and golf in the early-spring Florida sun.
It may raise ethical red flags, too, according to Larry Noble, senior director and general counsel at the Campaign Legal Center. “This raises a number of questions, including whether Secret Service flew with them, and if so, if Secret Service paid Trump for their share of the use of the plane,” he said, noting that it could also be seen as an advertisement for the Trump brand, since locals were rushing to the airport, excited to see the Trump plane. “It’s another example of the interconnection between [Trump’s] personal business and his government business, and whether he is profiting off of the government.”
