It may raise ethical red flags, too, according to Larry Noble, senior director and general counsel at the Campaign Legal Center. “This raises a number of questions, including whether Secret Service flew with them, and if so, if Secret Service paid Trump for their share of the use of the plane,” he said, noting that it could also be seen as an advertisement for the Trump brand, since locals were rushing to the airport, excited to see the Trump plane. “It’s another example of the interconnection between [Trump’s] personal business and his government business, and whether he is profiting off of the government.”
