Supreme Court Battle

Activists have pledged over $1 million to Maine GOP Sen. Susan Collins’ future opponent if she does not vote against Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination.

The Washington Post’s Eli Rosenberg reported that the director of the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center said he thought it was illegal, while a spokesperson for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington called it “icky” but that it “doesn’t rise to the level of bribery.”
