Prohibited Campaign Contributions Threaten to Put Corporate Donors Behind Bars

Since the allegations surfaced in a Washington Post report, three watchdog groups have filed complaints with the FEC: Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), the Campaign Legal Center (CLC), and North Carolina watchdog Common Cause. The House Oversight Committee also announced it would open an investigation and called for DeJoy’s immediate suspension.
