"I don't believe you can sustain a campaign for president when it costs you 55 cents to raise every dollar," said Larry Noble, senior counsel at the Campaign Legal Center and a campaign finance specialist.

“It shows what happens with a first-time candidate who I really don’t think was prepared for the success he’s having in the polls,” Noble said. “He’s trying to build up mailing lists, trying to build up financial contribution lists, and it’s an expensive thing to do.”
