“There are estimated to be 350 lawsuits around the country this year related to election issues and procedures, and we have been in thirty-some this year. The cases we are involved in are whether someone will be able to vote if they can’t leave their house, if they are afraid of getting ill from a crowded polling place, and whether they have the right to an absentee ballot. And then will their vote be counted?” said Trevor Potter, president of Campaign Legal Center.
