Nevada Passes to Automatically Restore Felons' Voting Rights Upon Release from Prison

Attorneys with the Campaign Legal Center, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit focused on election law, raised concerns that the wording on the voter sign-up sheets could lead residents with a past conviction to think they’re not eligible to vote. Corey Goldstone, a spokesman for the Campaign Legal Center, estimated the bill would restore voting rights to more than 77,000 residents.
