One option would be to spread the bounty across the vast collection of equity-minded legal aid groups out there, which Scott has already started doing via the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, LatinoJustice and the Campaign Legal Center. Nevertheless, that leaves the slow-burn challenge of articulating a unifying progressive judicial philosophy and motivating the next generation of judges to build their careers with that philosophy in mind. Investments in legal think tanks and law school research centers could help on this front.
