The Jersey Journal: Watchdog Groups Cheer Disclosure of $1M Donor to Super PAC Linked to Fulop
Paul S. Ryan, deputy executive director of Campaign Legal Center, said yesterday that even though the name of the donor has been disclosed, his group's complaint remains valid.
"We hope and expect that the FEC will move forward with our complaint," Ryan said in a statement. "The fact that a campaign finance law violator corrects its violation — only after being caught by a watchdog like the Campaign Legal Center — doesn't negate the violation."
