Interview: Brendan Fischer on Trump's Save America Leadership PAC

“It’s really two committees that we are talking about here. One is Donald Trump’s presidential campaign committee, and the other is a newly created called Save America, which is a leadership PAC. Most of the money raised in this post-election period has gone towards Save America--Trump’s leadership PAC—and as a PAC, Save America is more loosely regulated than Trump’s campaign committee,” said Brendan Fischer, director of federal reform at Campaign Legal Center. “It appears that most of the money raised in the post-election period has gone to Save America, and as a loosely regulated political committee, Trump has a wide array of potential uses for those funds.”
