Interview: Adav Noti on Wayne County and Election Recounts

“It’s important to keep in mind that it only happened for a couple hours before they reversed themselves. I think that if they hadn’t reversed themselves the courts in Michigan would’ve forced them to in short order,” said Adav Noti, senior director of trial litigation and chief of staff at Campaign Legal Center. “In the bigger picture, aside from that blip in Wayne County for a few hours, the process is actually going fairly well towards certification of the presidential election in all the states around the country. We are moving inevitably towards the conclusion of the process when the Electoral College voters meet next month and cast their votes.”
