Gov. Tom Wolf releases federal tax returns for 2017 ahead of 2018 election: See it

While Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner continues to refuse to release his 2017 taxes for public inspection, his Democratic opponent and sitting governor Tom Wolf has shared his 2017 federal tax return. Wolf's taxes show an adjusted gross income of $414,184 for 2017. According to the Associated Press, Wolf also claimed nearly $1.3 million in charitable donations for the year. 

"Tax returns give voters important information about a candidate's potential conflicts of interest and, if elected, whether they would personally benefit from the policies they promote," Brendan Fischer, a lawyer for The Campaign Legal Center, told AP in March.
