The Ukraine scandal took a criminal turn last week with the arrest and indictment of two Ukrainian Americans on charges they violated campaign finance laws. Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman allegedly served as Rudy Giuliani’s fixers when Trump’s personal attorney made his repeated forays into Ukraine. The duo was charged with contributing to a Trump super PAC in the name of company that existed only on paper. The pair also had a hand in the ouster of former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, claims the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center.
