Statement Before the Oklahoma House Elections and Ethics Committee

On September 11, 2023, Campaign Legal Center submitted a statement to the Oklahoma House Elections and Ethics Committee as a part of the Committee’s interim study of the state’s ballot measure process. Our comments highlight the gaps in campaign finance laws that allow foreign interests to spend large amounts in state & local elections and provides potential solutions for the Committee’s consideration.
