Date
Court Level
District Court

On February 2, 2024, the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota granted a motion to dismiss a challenge to North Dakota's mail-in voting process because of a lack of personal injury to the plaintiff. The League of Women Voters (LWVND), represented by Campaign Legal Center, moved to intervene in the suit last August, and simultaneously asked the judge to dismiss the case. As a result of this order, North Dakotans who timely cast their mail-in ballots will continue to have their voices heard at the ballot box.
