LWVUT Supreme Court Opinion

On October 24, 2024, the Utah Supreme Court issued a unanimous opinion holding that proposed Amendment D — which would limit Utahns’ right to reform their government by ballot initiative — violates the state constitution’s requirements for submission and publication of constitutional amendments and is therefore void.
